Free - SC-810 radio faceplate - stealth aftermarket install

Post by FireFox31 »

Free to the first person who's interested:

The face of an 850's SC-810 radio

Use this face to cover the gap in the dashboard when you take out your aftermarket headunit(s). What car thief will mess with a Volvo which appears to still have its stock radio?

See this forum thread for how I used an SC-813 face to hide the two aftermarket headunits in my 2000 V70.

When I made my fake SC-813 faceplate in 2002, I also bought an SC-810 just in case I broke the 813. Sure enough, I broke the LCD screen on the 813, so I took the one off the 810. So, the faceplate I'm offering has everything, knobs included, except the LCD screen. For a true stealh look, you'll have to find an LCD screen or a substitute.

This is a really cool security trick. This SC-810 cost me probably $30 off eBay, but if anyone is interested, they can simply have the face plate. Make good use of it.
